- Shop from our SUPPLY (aka our in-house + curated collection of ethically made essentials and reclamed art)
- Listen to curated sound floating through the air. Sometimes a live dj session, sometimes just inspiring music humming through a sound sound of vintage hand wired speakers.
- Grab a zero-proof adaptogenic drink from the Slow Bar. And tune into intentional rhythm.
Welcome in...
An incense-filled retreat from the outside world, featuring scents you can almost taste. A lamp lit moody sound serenity for slowing down and simply "being"....to learn, grow, feel, smell, taste, see, be. Reconnect with self in real life in our conscious, immersive shop x lounge for the mind, body, spirit.
In the sanctuary, you'll find our SUPPLY of ethically made and reclaimed essentials, curated inspiring SOUND, functional plant-based wellness drinks to SIP, plus workshop + live music SESSIONS built for inspiring impactful and meaningful lives.
Sessions
In The Sanctuary, we host curated sessions.
Session is simply a meeting of a body of people devoted to a particular activity.
For us, this means:

The Back Yard at Slow Motion Goods
We're one of the few intimate outdoor concert venues in Kansas City, right in the backyard of our Westside KC flagship store! Imagine lush trees, strung lights and local music setting the scene...
During the day, you're welcome to take a beat in back with a zero-proof drink from the Slow Bar and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air.

The Slow Bar
A nootropics and adaptogens lounge in our back room offering zero-proof canned, bottled, bagged and slowly poured plant-based functional drinks for your mind, body, spirit. No alcohol, low to no caffeine, just mindful drinks with all the benefits and none of the negative side effects.
Breakdown, burnout, blowback. Keeping up isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. That’s why we’re taking things down a notch.
Open during regular hours + every Friday night until 9pm.
